Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #42: World Card-Making Day

Here's a cute Owl Card that I made using my Paisley Cartridge. The stamp is from My Pink Stamper.

Cricut Circle Blogiversary Challenge : Monochromatic Color Challenge!

For this challenge I decided to make a royal birthday card in tones of pink. I started with the Happily Ever After Cartridge and used the Icon feature of Sleeping Beauty. I used some beautiful crown paper in the background that has some fun glitter accents. I then backed it in a nice dotted paper and accented the dots with jewels. I stamped "Happy Birthday" and finished everything off with some nice pink patterned ribbon.

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #40: Glittery Card Sketch Challenge!

I had fun coming up with this card. I really wanted to use my new Sophie cartridge, so I found these cute snowflakes. I also wanted to go with a bit of a non-traditional color scheme. I really like how this one turned out.

Inspired Stamps: OWH September Challenge

For this challenge we were asked to make either a "Love" card or a "Missing You" card. I went with a Fall themed Love Card with the fun title of "Nuts about you" from My Pink Stamper.
The Nut Stamp is another fun dollar find from Joanns.

OWH : Anything But Glitter Midweek Challenge

So for this challenge I did another Christmas card. I have been having so much fun with all the fun Christmas stuff I picked up the other day. I LOVE this stamp by Stampendous! I got the ribbon and the stamp at Michael's and the background paper is embossed with the "textile" embossing folder from Cuttlebug. There is no glitter on this card, just beautiful metallic gold accents. :)

OWH BlogSkip: CAS!

So today's inspiration was to make a CAS (Clean and Simple) card. There was so much great inspiration! I have made one card and am going to attempt to make another. For this card I used a technique my mother-in-law found that sounded like fun. I took foil and folded it to size then ran it through my Cuttlebug. It amazingly holds the embossing because of the strength of the layers of foil. I love how it turned out when I used it with my new Sizzix - Tim Holtz - Snow Flurries folder! The stamp is from Stampin Up! and the ribbon I got from Michael's new Christmas ribbon. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Inchies...OWH Midweek Challenge

So we were challenged to use squares that were about an inch in the design of our cards. Mine are 1.25 on the stamped area and 1.5 on the matting. I just got these stamps last week and had this design in my brain when I bought them, so it was nice to have an excuse to pull them out and use them.

OWH Sketch Challenge #82

So I decided to try and keep this one really masculine.
I used my Ornamental Iron Cricut Cartridge for the embellishment
and my EK Success punch for the Lattice Chain.
Enjoy!

July Pop-Up Neighborhood Magazine Contest

So for this contest I decided to make a card for my Grandpa, a retired farmer.
I had been thinking about making one from the fun farming images on this Cartridge, so it was fun to have a reason to take the time to do it! YEAH! Enjoy!

Cricut Circle July Monthly Challenge: Let's Eat Challenge!

Our entries had to have something to do with BBQ, Picnic or Patio Themes and have a gingham or check pattern. I decided to go with the picnic theme and use a red and white gingham for the "table cloth" the watermelon is sitting on. I used my Gypsy to weld together the card in order to get it to cut out the bite to fit the bite of the watermelon. The watermelon is from Simply Charmed and the stamp is My Pink Stamper. It's a fun Thank you card. Enjoy!

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #36: Fabric Challenge

So for the fabric challenge this week, I decided to make a cover for my Expression. I had been thinking about doing it for a while and was glad for the excuse to buy some pretty fabric. I used the Cricut Everyday for everything but a few of the letters when I used Plantin' Schoolbook. I wish the pictures would have picked up better the sparkle of the fabric!

Cricut Circle June Magazine Challenge: Teresa Collins Sponsor Contest

The June Magazine Challenge for Cricut Circle was to make something with Teresa Collins' products and using Cricut cuts. I chose to use her "On The Edge" line to make this card.
I used two different papers (the plaid and the guitars), brads, and the tag is made from two different die cuts  from this line.
To do the die cutting I used three different Cartridges. First the guitar and shadow are from the Wall Decor & More, the border I got from the Gypsy Wanderings and stretched to fit the width I wanted, and the word "Celebrate" and shadow came from the new Sophisticated Cartridge. So that more then covers my three Teresa Collins' products and my four Cricut cuts. Enjoy!

OWH Sketch Challenge #75

I made this card with some scraps of patterned paper I had and a die cut from my Cricut....from the French Manor Cartridge.

Cricut Circle June Monthly Challenge...On the Road Again Challenge!

Here is my entry for the "On the road again" challenge from Cricut Circle.
The challenge was to make something for the car. :)
Considering how much my kids LOVE Tick, Tack, Toe...I decided to make a magnetic version of it for my car. I started with a 12.5"x12.5" box that I got at Joann's. I then used Rustoleum Magnetic Paint in the base of it, so the magnets would stick. I covered the paint with a thin piece of paper and used black ribbon to mark off the gird.

I let my kids help pick out what they wanted me to make for the board.
I made the traditional X's and O's (from the Hello Kitty Font),
Winnie the Pooh & Tigger (from Pooh & Friends),

a dog (Just Because Cards) & a cat (Create A Critter),
a fish & an octopus (Create A Critter), and
crowns in blue and pink with their initials (Once Upon a Princess). They are so excited to play with it!

Anniversary Card

Today is my in-law's wedding anniversary, so I thought I would post the card I put together for them. The word "Anniversary" comes from the Designer's Calendar Cartridge and the butterflies come from the Once Upon a Princess Cartridge. Enjoy! :)

OWH "Love You" Challenge

So for this challenge I decided to have my card open a little differently. I love how it turned out!
