OWH Midweek Throwdown - Christmas/Winter in July

I used a sketch from last week's blog hop for this one. I really liked the idea of a square card with something sticking up from it. What came to mind as soon as I saw the sketch was a snowflake. 

I cut the snowflake from the Cricut Sophie Cartridge.

For the Our Daily Bread Design July Challenge I used Colorbok paper and a Stampendous! stamp.

OWH Sketch #128

So I decided to make a bit of a change to this week's sketch. I left off the embellishments.  I finished the rest of the card and decided I really liked the simplicity of it. I used Colorbok paper and the "thinking of you" stamp is Hero Arts.

June Cards made for OWH

A friend of mine's husband deployed in June and so I was reinvigorated to make cards again! So happy to do this! Life just gets so busy with the kids out of school. I had fun making these. Enjoy!

So yesterday I spent most of my day making cards. Here are a few of those I got done.

This one has been on my mind to do for a while. I love how it turned out!

The next two are just different color variations on the same thing. When I finished these, I was very pleased to get the thumbs up from my hubby!

This last one is one that I made for my mother-in-law's birthday and loved so much I made a few more for OWH.

OWH Sketch Challenge #111

So here goes. I know it's been a while, but I felt motivated today to get this done. Hope you like it! I used a Tim Holtz Stamp I had and some scraps from my scrap box.

VCMP Challenge #9: Cut it Out

For this challenge we were allowed to use die cuts or punches to create any card we wanted. As I looked through my Cricut Stand and Salute Cartridge I fell in love with this cut! I accented it with a fun star jewel.
