Cricut Circle January Monthly Challenge: The Year in Review!
I was inspired by the January Cricut Circle Monthly Challenge to make a mini book for my daughter that covered each month of 2011. I started in December of 2010 because her birthday is Christmas Eve and I wanted to book to encompass her whole experience as a four year old in 2011.
For the base of the book I used the Hello Kitty Font to do the shadow of the number 4. I then added the holes using my Gypsy, so they would all be consistent. I also used the Hello Kitty Greeting Cartridge to cut the cute little cupcakes on December 2010
For February I used the 50 States Cartridge to cut out the shape of Arizona to add just a little extra something to the page.
In October I used Gypsy Wanderings to make the cute little leaves in gold and blue.
I then used A Child's Year to add the Pilgrim's hat to November and our Thanksgiving trip.
I kept this book pretty simple because I knew it would get a lot of love from my now five year old little girl, but I love how it turned out!

Cricut Circle Blogiversary Challenge : Monochromatic Color Challenge!
For this challenge I decided to make a royal birthday card in tones of pink. I started with the Happily Ever After Cartridge and used the Icon feature of Sleeping Beauty. I used some beautiful crown paper in the background that has some fun glitter accents. I then backed it in a nice dotted paper and accented the dots with jewels. I stamped "Happy Birthday" and finished everything off with some nice pink patterned ribbon.
